Freedom (Issue 1) - Black Lives Matter
Following recent events in the United States and across the world I was approached by our Head Student Team. They wanted to be proactive and respond to these events and so they have collated and edited a publication that gives voice to students who wish to share their thoughts and personal experiences with the school community.
Freedom (Issue 1) - Black Lives Matter, is the excellent, thoughtful and thought-provoking publication that they produced. (The .pdf above).
Tackling prejudice in all its forms is a school priority. I am committed to the ideal that all staff and students are treated equally, and feel equally valued and respected, in the school I lead. Those of us involved in schools must believe that education is the key to making a difference and must play our part.
